Job Description
Position Title: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: Bellevue WA (Hybrid)
Work Authorization: Any EAD (Except OPT/CPT)
Tax Terms: W2
Mandatory Skills: Docker Nginx Jenkins Ansible python Linux
Requirements:
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in working with Ansible for automation configuration management and orchestration.
- Solid understanding of Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with Artifactory for artifact management and version control.
- Strong understanding of Docker containerization technology and container lifecycle management.
- Experience in creating Docker images managing Docker registries and working with Docker CLI.
- Knowledge of Docker Compose for multicontainer application deployment and orchestration.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration and cluster management.
- Experience with deploying scaling and managing applications on Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes resources such as pods services deployments and config maps.
- Understanding of Kubernetes networking load balancing and storage concepts.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes monitoring and logging using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
- Expertise in Nginx for load balancing reverse proxying and web server configuration.
- Indepth knowledge of Linux operating systems including system administration and scripting.
- Experience with Apache HTTP Server including installation configuration and troubleshooting.
- Ability to design implement and maintain automated deployment and infrastructure provisioning using tools like Ansible.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash Python or Perl for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Handson experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and knowledge of branching strategies and pull requests.
- Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus Grafana or ELK stack (Elasticsearch Logstash and Kibana).
- Knowledge of logging and log analysis tools such as Splunk or syslog.
- Strong collaboration skills to work with crossfunctional teams including developers operations and QA.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts and solutions.
- Ability to analyze complex problems identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to debug and resolve issues in a timely manner.
