Summary of the Role:
The Logistic Officer at Mrkas will be responsible for managing and optimizing the companys logistics operations including the storage procurement and distribution of goods and materials. The role also involves overseeing inventory management ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods and maintaining compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage logistics operations including transportation warehousing and distribution.
- Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels ensuring timely procurement of materials.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the smooth delivery of goods.
- Oversee the receipt inspection and proper storage of inventory.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations in logistics and store management.
- Implement costsaving strategies and optimize logistics processes.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory deliveries and shipments using management software.
- Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and inventory levels.
- Conduct regular audits of stock and store operations to prevent discrepancies.
- Streamline custom clearance and have indepth knowledge of Saber Platform.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- Years of Experience: Minimum 35 years of experience in logistics supply chain management or inventory management preferably within the defense or security sectors.
- Required Skills:
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple logistics operations simultaneously.
- Certificate: Certification in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (CLSCM) or a related certification is preferred.
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: 4000.00 6000.00 per month
