Job Description: As a Media Executive you will play a pivotal role in planning executing and optimizing media campaigns. Your main focus will be client campaigns ensuring smooth planning and research for both online and offline media. Building strong relationships with media owners and effectively utilizing media research tools are crucial. You will produce media schedules manage invoicing and handle daytoday media administrative functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Media Planning and Buying:
Develop and execute media plans across digital print broadcast outdoor SMS and other mediums.
Negotiate and purchase media space and time to secure the best rates and placements.
Campaign Management:
Monitor and optimize media campaigns to meet performance goals.
Analyze campaign data and provide insights and recommendations.
Collaborate with creative teams to develop effective ad creatives.
Client Interaction:
Liaise with clients to understand their marketing goals and objectives.
Present media strategies and campaign results to clients with clear and actionable insights.
Visit and bring in new business.
Market Research:
Stay updated on industry trends media consumption patterns and emerging platforms.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats.
Reporting:
Prepare detailed campaign reports including performance metrics insights and recommendations.
Ensure accurate tracking and measurement of media activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
Update client plans and amend media schedules under the supervision of the Media Manager.
Monitor and prepare material specifications for production.
Perform media evaluation studies (readership print radio digital social media listenership).
Prepare monthly competitive reports and maintain records (client data media opportunities rate cards TV grids).
Assist in basic print outdoor and radio planning.
Tackle new and current big pitches.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Marketing Advertising Communications or a related field.
510 years of experience in media planning and buying preferably within an advertising agency.
Proficiency in media planning and analytics tools.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build relationships with media vendors.
Excellent analytical skills with a datadriven mindset.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Proficiency in English (Arabic is a plus).
High level of accuracy excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
Dynamic highly organized and excellent internal staff service orientation.
