Job Description
Vacant Position: Network Engineer
Qualification & Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in network engineering roles with a focus on designing implementing and supporting complex network infrastructure in enterprise environments.
- Professional certifications such as CCNP CCIE JNCIP or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Indepth knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including TCP/IP Ethernet VLANs MPLS QoS and SDWAN.
- Experience with network hardware and software from leading vendors such as Cisco Juniper Palo Alto Networks and Arista.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices including firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems and encryption protocols.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
- Proven leadership abilities including the ability to lead and mentor a team of network engineers to achieve common goals
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of networking
Job Description:
- Design deploy and manage enterpriselevel network infrastructure including routers switches firewalls load balancers and wireless access points.
- Plan and execute network upgrades migrations and expansions to accommodate business growth and emerging technologies.
- Monitor network performance and security troubleshoot issues and implement solutions to optimize network efficiency and reliability.
- Configure and maintain network protocols and services including TCP/IP VLANs OSPF BGP DHCP DNS and VPNs.
- Collaborate with system administrators software developers and other stakeholders to integrate network infrastructure with systems and applications.
- Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access data breaches and cyber threats.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the network engineering team fostering their professional development and growth.
- Stay informed about emerging networking technologies trends and best practices and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Participate in the planning and of disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to ensure network resilience and uptime.
