Basic Functions & Scope:
Identifying market potential for establishing new accounts achieving retail sales targets and ensuring profitability. Monitoring pricing and contracts to deliver highquality products and services efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing sales budgets and market expansion plans.
- Meeting retail sales objectives.
- Creating forecasts and strategies for profitable sales.
- Leading and managing the sales team for optimal performance.
- Planning sales processes including customer mix product positioning pricing and payment schedules.
- Overseeing retail activities and analyzing sales and operational data.
- Maintaining existing business and developing new opportunities.
- Collaborating with key departments to enhance business capabilities.
- Managing product pricing and distribution accounts.
- Conducting sales analysis and forecasting stock requirements.
- Appraising departmental staff performance.
- Monitoring competitors and implementing counter strategies.
- Ensuring timely payment collection and adherence to company policies.
- Implementing proactive inventory planning to maintain stock levels.
- Visiting customers regularly to foster relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Supervising the merchandising team to enhance product visibility.
- Setting KPIs for team members and ensuring goal achievement.
- Monitoring stock rotation and shelf presence in supermarkets.
- Enhancing product market visibility and participation in promotions.
- Driving retail sales growth and profitability.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing or related field.
- Skills: Strong leadership communication analytical retail management software and MS Office skills.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in retail sales management in the food industry in GCC or Bahrain with a proven sales track record.
