Job Title: Software Design Engineer (Azure) (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloudnative applications and services using Azure technologies.
- Architect scalable and maintainable software solutions using best practices in cloud design.
- Collaborate with product owners architects and development teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Develop APIs microservices and serverless applications within Azure.
- Ensure performance scalability and security standards are met across cloud environments.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
- Perform code reviews debugging and performance analysis to ensure highquality code.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams design specs and deployment guides.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Azure and cloud computing.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices within the development team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Software development experience with a focus on cloudbased solutions.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g. Azure Functions App Services Cosmos DB Azure DevOps).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C# .NET Core Python or JavaScript.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Solid understanding of Azure architecture and infrastructure including IaaS PaaS and SaaS.
- Experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
- Strong knowledge of Azure security and identity management (Azure AD Key Vault OAuth).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Experience in database technologies such as SQL NoSQL and Cosmos DB.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a focus on delivering highquality solutions.
Preferred Skills:
- Azure certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Azure Developer Associate).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM Templates Terraform or Bicep.
- Knowledge of cloud networking monitoring and logging solutions (e.g. Azure Monitor Log Analytics).
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and working in a DevOps environment.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
