Job Description
Job Title: Database Analyst (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design maintain and optimize database structures to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends patterns and data integrity issues.
- Develop document and maintain data management policies and procedures.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction reporting and analysis.
- Perform database performance tuning optimization and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions.
- Monitor database performance and implement necessary improvements.
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
- Generate reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights.
- Maintain accurate documentation of database configurations processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience as a Database Analyst Database Administrator or a similar role.
- Proficiency in database management systems such as MySQL SQL Server Oracle or PostgreSQL.
- Strong SQL skills including query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience with data modeling schema design and ETL processes.
- Experience database security backup and recovery best practices.
- Knowledge of BI tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with cloudbased database solutions (AWS Azure Google Cloud).
- Experience in NoSQL databases (MongoDB Cassandra).
- Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies (Hadoop Spark).
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
