Software Developer IV
(Hybrid/Remote USA PST Time Zone Bay Area preferred)
Description
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Developer with 1015 years of expertise in environment orchestration including deep knowledge of Git pull requests rebasing file paths terminal operations observability quality engineering/testing (.NG) Java and containerization (e.g. Docker).
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of architecting optimizing and troubleshooting complex systems and environments driving innovation and providing strategic leadership in technical projects. This role involves mentoring junior developers and leading crossfunctional teams to ensure the successful delivery of robust and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Expertlevel understanding of GitHub including advanced branching pull requests rebasing and repository management strategies.
- Extensive experience with Docker and enterpriselevel containerization concepts including orchestration and scaling.
- Proficiency in writing and managing highly complex YAML configurations for largescale systems.
- Deep knowledge of cloud computing architectures and strategies with handson experience in cloud deployment and management.
- Advanced skills in API development and troubleshooting with Curl/Postman with a focus on security and scalability.
- Extensive expertise in Linux system administration and shell scripting with a focus on optimization and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 1015 years of experience in software development technical architecture or a similar role with a strong focus on environment orchestration and system optimization.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with a proven ability to design and implement innovative solutions for complex largescale systems.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills with extensive experience leading technical projects mentoring teams and driving organizational success.
- Ability to lead independently and as part of a senior leadership team in a dynamic fastpaced environment.
- Experience with largescale testing and quality engineering is highly advantageous.
- Strong familiarity with observability tools and practices is highly desirable.
- Nice to Have:
Handson experience with Kubernetes/GKE including orchestration troubleshooting and scaling in production environments.
Expertise in CI/CD tools particularly Jenkins with a focus on pipeline optimization and governance.
Proven leadership and mentoring skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop highperforming technical teams.
Pay Rate: $68/hr (Depending on the skills and experience) under a W2 contract.
