Job Description
Role : Cassandra Specialist
This is remote position (Preferably EST time zone)

Job Description:
10 years of experience working with Cassandra in production environments with a deep understanding of its architecture replication strategies and tuning techniques.
Handson experience with Kubernetes especially in managing distributed systems such as Cassandra within a containerized environment.
Strong foundation of Linux administration fundamentals.
Familiarity with observability best practices and tools such as Prometheus Grafana or ELK Stack.
Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g. Python Go Bash) to streamline infrastructure management tasks.
Strong problemsolving abilities with a focus on diagnosing performance and scalability issues in distributed systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Technical Writing (Documentation process documents proposals).
Kubernetes certifications are desirable (e.g. Certified Kubernetes Administrator
(CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)).
Knowledge of the DigitalOcean cloud platform (e.g. droplets spaces
networking) and infrastructureascode tools (e.g. ansible chef) is advantageous.
