Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Summary:
Are you passionate about empowering students and helping them succeed academically SiSTEM Tutoring Agency is looking for dedicated knowledgeable and inspiring Tutors to join our virtual team! We offer personalized tutoring across all subjects and grade levels from K12 through college with a focus on Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) as well as other core subjects.

MUST BE eligible to work in the United States of America and have a valid Social Security Number; Note: We do not sponsor visas at this time
MUST BE Committed to tutoring for the duration of the assignment with a possibility of extension
MUST Be able to pass a background check
Great interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt and relate to students from diverse backgrounds
MUST HAVE a selfless commitment to making a difference in students lives
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students across all subjects.
- Provide targeted oneonone instruction ensuring students grasp essential concepts and skills.
- Maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of learning.
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly to meet individual learning needs.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Tutor students in subjects such as Math Science English Social Studies Foreign Languages Computer Science and test prep (SAT ACT etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education or a related field (or current enrollment) in relevant subject areas preferred.
- Expertise in one or more subject areas (e.g. Math Science English etc.).
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience (over 1 year).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patient and adaptable with a passion for helping students grow academically.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using virtual tutoring platforms (e.g. Zoom Google Meet).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching certification or credentials.
- Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Familiarity with educational technology and online learning tools.

SKILLS KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:
A college student with at least 60 hours of credit hours
A college graduate (Bachelor s Master s Doctoral degree holder)
A certified teacher with SBEC or other teacher state licensure certification
A retired teacher with SBEC or other teacher state licensure certification

BENEFITS:
This position is a CONTRACT job. Contract Tutor will receive W9 and must file/pay their own taxes.
SiSTEM Tutors enjoy a competitive pay rate based on education and experience.

Pay is $15.00$27.00 weekly.
