Job Description
Contract position
Responsibilities:
Support of thirdparty vendor initiatives partner with vendor resources and internal IT leads in support of the development testing and rollout of new programs or changes to existing programs.
Facilitate requirement gathering sessions with business SME s and product owners in support of new systems and enhancements to existing systems.
Create/review requirement documents and acceptance criteria for use by developer and QA resources.
Support existing BI tool for insureds/brokers
Support of Regulatory reporting to include CMS EDI and USR
Review test strategy and test scenarios for QA resources and provide testing support.
As a UAT team member (during the user acceptance testing phase of projects) create and execute UAT scripts document results assist with defect remediation.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills to develop an indepth knowledge of both company specific processes and requirements as well as the "out of the box" functionality of thirdparty software packages.
Experience with Claims
Strong facilitation and communication skills to conduct successful requirements gathering sessions and assist our business customers in making wellinformed decisions regarding technology.
Experience with the software development lifecycle and projects that are managed in both waterfall and agile environments.
Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel PowerPoint Visio and Word) as well as agile tools (Rally ADO etc.).
3 years Commercial Property & Casualty insurance products experience.
