HVAC Sales Manager
The Sales Manager works with representatives contractors and both internal and external stakeholders to increase sales volume. This position is ideal for enterprising individuals with strong decisionmaking abilities who can lead and execute projects. The ideal candidate is goaloriented enjoys solving handson problems and delivers practical solutions to meet customer expectations. Success in this role requires creativity responsibility and the ability to work autonomously when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development & Support:
- Secure quotations for large projects through representatives and distributors of the companys products.
- Evaluate customer orders providing recommendations on the most efficient product use regarding application space and airflow delivering tailored solutions.
- Offer technical and sales support building brand awareness among customers and clients.
- Assist with submittals Bill of Material (BOM) quotations and followups on previous estimates from the estimating department.
- Communicate with customers via email phone and onsite visits to assess needs and promote products and services.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities sharing insights with the Business Development Manager.
- Maintain a competitor database tracking quotes marketing strategies rep agency details and sales channels.
- Attend trade shows and conferences to stay informed about industry trends and developments.
- Provide technical support for products and CADVent software building customer trust.
- Submit product orders verify material lists and ensure delivery schedules align with customer needs addressing any issues related to shipping order entry or product damage.
- Submit building blueprints to the takeoff department for bid preparation.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the Business Development Manager.
Administrative:
- Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations to engineers rep agencies contractors and building owners to showcase product offerings and support sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations highlighting technical features and benefits.
Qualifications:
This is a midlevel role. Ideal candidates should possess:
- Strong leadership and decisionmaking abilities with a proven track record in project .
- Technical knowledge of airflow space optimization and custom solutions.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written for engaging with customers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CADVent software and technical product support.
- The ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
Education and Experience:
- A bachelor s degree in engineering business or a related field is preferred.
- 3 15 years of experience in sales development or technical support ideally within the construction or manufacturing industries.
- Experience working with contractors representatives and distributors.
