Plan and implement strategies to increase sales improve profitability and enhance customer satisfaction.
Manage inventory levels place orders and negotiate with vendors to ensure the availability of products at competitive prices.
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers vendors and other business partners.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends customer preferences and competitor strategies.
Create and implement marketing campaigns to promote the gift shop s products and services.
Analyze sales data and financial reports to make informed decisions about product assortment pricing and promotions.
Train and supervise staff members providing coaching and feedback to improve performance and motivate team members.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries complaints and suggestions in a timely and professional manner.
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor s degree in business or related field preferred.
Proven experience as a retail manager or similar role in a gift shop or similar retail environment.
Strong knowledge of retail operations including inventory management sales strategies financial reporting and customer service.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to lead and motivate a team of employees.
Strong analytical skills and ability to make datadriven decisions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software tools.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
