Job Description
Title: Cloudera Admin (System Admin working on Cloudera)
Duration: 24 months contract (room for conversion or extension)
Location: Dallas (Preferred) NYC or Charlotte (Hybrid)
Overall they need to be more on the admin side (not developer) and to have Cloudera and CDP 7.1.9.
Wells Fargo manager will not interview anyone who does not have CDP 7.1.9. Please ensure you have that
*They are not looking for a developer solely a System admin that has Cloudera experience and has been working with CDP extensively.* *Cloudera and Openshift are 2 absolute must haves*
Primary Skills:
- Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) CDS Kubernetes & Docker services
- OpenShift
o Big Data: Hadoop
o Spark Scala Pyspark HDFS
o Scripting Languages: Batch Script Shell Script Python Ansible & terraform.
o Ansible EPL Shell scripting openshift.
Additional Skills:
o Microsoft Stack: MSSQL with strong knowledge in RDBMS concepts
o Agile Scrum Jira Git SVN Liquibase ServiceNow
o Airflow Autosys Visio.
- Work experience on Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) and good knowledge on data migration from Hortonworks (onprem)/MapR to CDP (public/private) Cloud
- Sound knowledge in CDP and Bigdata technologies (Hortonworks)/MapR and Good to have enough knowledge in Scala.
- Advantage who has knowledge in Pyspark Framework.
- Good script writing experience in Ansible Shell Unix.
- Extensive experience in securing the cluster/storage/encryption.
- Provide support to team members and helping them to understand the projects and requirements and guiding them to create the optimized solution of it.
- Team player and proven track record of working in various team sizes performing crossfunctional roles.
