Software QA Engineer

Amick Brown is seeking an experienced Software QA Engineer for our direct client.

Duration: 2months

Estimated pay range: 59.25 74.07 per client contract and candidate skills experience and work location.

Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

• This software QA engineering role will report to the user experience engineering team.
• The primary function will be to develop an automated embedded UI testing system that increases our development teams efficiency and helps us in the production development of software for the healthcare industry.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implementation and optimization of UI regression testing.
• Work with embedded and UI software engineering teams to understand the product features and implement robust testing mechanisms.
• Integrate and monitor test applications with our surgical robotic systems.
• Write and present test reports and analyze failure modes.
• Conduct technical design reviews with team members.

Skills Experience Education & Training:

• Minimum BSc in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Deep understanding of the Qt framework and Squish testing tool
• Proficiency in Python and bash programming languages
• Other Programming Languages: C is a plus
• Experience with Git Ubuntu GoogleTest is a plus
• Language English
