Instrumentation & Electrical Maintenance Leader

  • Support the project group in coordination development planning and of capital and nonroutine projects.
  • Supports developing and stewarding to the maintenance budget including routine outages turnarounds and nonroutine items.
  • Plays a key role in the E&I teams development through talent attraction needs assessment resource development and goals management.


A chemical leader is searching for an experienced E & I Maintenance Leader to lead the electrical and instrumentation maintenance team. Key responsibilities include managing critical instrument PMs handling MOC and Corrective Actions overseeing SIS testing and maintaining compliance with environmental analyzers. Requires solid leadership and technical expertise in industrial electrical codes PSM principles and experience in chemical petrochemical or related industries.

Responsibilities:

Lead the E&I maintenance team ensuring safe and reliable work .
Manage instrument PMs and critical tasks using the sites CMMS.
Coordinate SIS testing ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain environmental analyzers.
Oversee MOC Corrective Actions and adherence to maintenance schedules.
Promote safety within the E&I group and support technician development.
Provide guidance on the corporate reliability program and manage E&I work during outages.
Collaborate on procurement contracts and manage contractor workforce.
Maintain cost control and budget adherence.

Qualifications

BS Electrical Engineering degree with 7 years experience in plant level Electrical & Instrumentation Equipment Maintenance experience in PSM regulated chemical plants.
Must come from chemical/ petrochemical industry with min 3 years in a leadership role w/ proven management background of budget programs and direct reporting staff.

Must have maintenance/ reliability experience of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
Familiarity with industrial electrical codes RAGAGEP and PSM principles.
Knowledge of maintaining Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).
Ability to work now or in the future without sponsorship.
