Job Description
Title: IT Integration Engineer
Location: Holyoke MA
Requirements (NEEDED):
Bachelors degree in computer science mathematics or related degree
2 years of software development and integration experience
Proficient in Java and Python
Experience with Relational Databases such as Oracle PostgreSQL MS SQL Server etc.
Containerization (Docker) and Orchestration (Kubernetes) experience
Basic understanding of AWS Cloud platform
The IT Integration Engineer Consultant will be responsible for the development and maintenance of application integrations between configuration management database (CMDB) IT applications and platform tools using APIs and custom integrations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify the integration needs between applications and documenting them.
- Work with SMEs to design the integrations between systems to meet the requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues by identifying root cause and develop a plan for problem resolution. Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
- Design program implement code test install and configure applications.
- Work in a team environment to support user and other technical staff.
- Learn ISONE business processes adhere to ISONE software and change management and IT standards.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions.
Minimum Requirements
- A fouryear bachelors degree in computer science or mathematics or equivalent.
- 24 years of experience in software development and integration. Understanding of Agile development methodology.
- Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages. Experience with GraphQL RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices including CI/CD pipelines version control (Git) containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Experience working with relational database technologies such as Oracle PostgreSQL etc. Basic understanding of AWS cloud platform.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools. Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail; excellent communication skills and team player.
