Job Description
Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has available an opening for a Registered Respiratory Therapist. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.
Location: Morton WA 98356
Assignment Start Date: 11/4/2024
13 weeks Days 12hour Shift 36 hours guaranteed weekly
The Estimated Weekly Total is based on working the listed hours per week and includes available stipend amounts. Please get in touch with a recruiter for full details.We are looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
- Communicate findings to referring physicians that warrant discussion or medical followup
- Develop an individual treatment plan with collaborative patient goals
- Work within a protocol to order appropriate medications and therapies
- Demonstrate effective time management with multiple pending tasks
- Establish medical necessity for a skilled level of care and services
- Ensure patient safety
- Provide interactive education and skills training sessions for patients and their families
- Engage family members whenever possible
- Monitor reassess and modify treatment to support patient progress
- Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences staff meetings and inservices as appropriate
- Collect and review patient and program outcomes
- Develop home management plans for patients with chronic disease
- Maintain communication with referring providers
- Initiate departmental emergency procedures as necessary
- Recommend pulmonary rehabilitation to potential patients
- Work with Pulmonary Rehabilitation Respiratory Therapist to provide Respiratory Therapy supervision during pulmonary rehabilitation sessions
- Provide safe and competent respiratory interventions including mechanical ventilation
- Provide effective and emergent therapy for patients across all demographics in the emergency room (neonatal pediatric and geriatric)
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION
Experience:
- Recent inpatient/outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation experience is ideal.
Licenses Certifications and/or Registration:
- A current RRT Certification is required
- BLS/BCLS ACLS & PALS are required
EMR System: Cerner experience preferred
Shift: 12hour day shifts Weekend Need
