Job Description
Position: Security Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Security Engineer to safeguard the defense financial system against potential threats. The ideal candidate will have a background in cybersecurity and secure systems engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement security measures to protect the financial system from cyber threats.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with the development and cloud teams to ensure secure architecture.
Qualifications:
- Experience in cybersecurity particularly in defense or government projects.
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g. NIST 800171).
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM) are highly desirable.
- 9 years of relevant experience.
