We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with expertise in the US healthcare domain to join our offshore team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of healthcare processes regulations and automation potentials. This role involves close collaboration with clients architects tech leads and development teams to ensure the successful delivery of healthcare automation projects. This position focuses on Athena EHR Functional/Analyst responsibilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Participate in the build configuration and testing of Athenahealth application features and functions. Assist in onboarding new practices to the Athenahealth application.
Provide electronic health record (EHR) support including resolving issues making changes working on system enhancements and writing documentation.
Offer recommendations to improve EMR/EHR documentation and workflows.
Troubleshoot all aspects of the Athenahealth system.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times ensuring data confidentiality and security.
Lead activities related to application upgrades and implementations including reviewing and validating functionality identifying new features and creating test plans.
Ensure data quality is maintained at all times.
Write analyze and make basic modifications to reports.
Provide second and thirdlevel support including maintenance activities and collaborate with team members to troubleshoot support issues.
Interact with vendors regarding technical issues and project initiatives under the direction of more experienced team members.
Possess a fundamental knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Review and validate existing processes to drive process improvement.
Complete system build documentation and maintain teams existing documentation.
Contribute to project tasks and milestones under the guidance of a project manager or more experienced team members updating all project management and timetracking tools accordingly.
Successfully complete projects and tasks by embracing a teamfirst approach collaborating effectively with team members and providing constructive feedback when appropriate.
Demonstrate the ability to adapt and be flexible to change adjusting approaches as necessary.
