Job Description

Job Title: Purchasing Manager (US Citizen Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to meet the companys goals and objectives.
  • Manage the procurement process from requisition through to purchase order and delivery.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers negotiate contracts and establish supplier relationships.
  • Monitor supplier performance manage any issues and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions and optimize costs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases pricing and other procurementrelated information.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and regulations related to purchasing.
  • Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities cost savings and supplier performance to management.
  • Develop and manage a team of purchasing professionals providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • Experience in purchasing or procurement with a proven track record of managing procurement activities.
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes supplier negotiation and contract management.
  • Experience with procurement software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
  • Certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management (e.g. CPP CPSM).
  • Experience in Industry or Sector.
  • Experience in inventory management and logistics.
  • Federal Experience is a plus.
  • Required Security clearance.
