Job Description
Job Title: PowerBuilder Programmer(US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain applications using PowerBuilder ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to interact with relational databases (e.g. Oracle SQL Server) as part of application development.
- Diagnose and resolve application issues providing timely support to users and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications user manuals and system documentation.
- Manage code changes using version control systems (e.g. Git SVN) to ensure code integrity and collaboration.
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure application functionality and performance meet requirements.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including QA DevOps and IT support to ensure smooth application deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in PowerBuilder programming and application development.
- Proficiency in PowerBuilder (version X or higher) and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.
- Experience in web technologies (HTML JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills able to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
