Job Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Director of Talent Acquisition with specialized expertise in Vendor Management to lead and scale our talent acquisition efforts. This role will be pivotal in optimizing and managing external recruiting vendors ensuring we attract and retain top talent while maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of our recruiting resources. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset excellent leadership skills and experience working with thirdparty vendors recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) and managed services providers (MSP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Vendor Management Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive vendor management strategy to streamline recruitment processes and reduce timetofill for key roles.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment vendors RPOs MSPs and independent contractors.
- Negotiate contracts set performance expectations and manage the ongoing relationships with all vendors to ensure compliance and top performance.
- Talent Acquisition Leadership:
- Lead the talent acquisition team providing mentorship and guidance to ensure a highperforming recruiting function.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align recruitment goals with the company s business objectives.
- Ensure diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives are embedded in recruitment processes.
- Performance and Process Optimization:
- Monitor and evaluate vendor performance using metrics such as costperhire timetofill and quality of hire.
- Regularly assess and optimize the performance of vendorsupplied candidates through data analytics and reporting.
- Implement tools and technologies to enhance the effectiveness of the talent acquisition process.
- Budget and Cost Management:
- Oversee the talent acquisition budget ensuring costeffective utilization of vendors.
- Identify costsaving opportunities without compromising the quality of hires.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders including HR department heads and hiring managers to understand talent needs and align vendor resources accordingly.
- Provide regular updates to executives on recruitment strategy performance challenges and solutions.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure all vendorrelated talent acquisition processes comply with local labor laws and corporate policies.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with thirdparty vendor agreements and engagements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field (Master s degree preferred).
- 10 years of experience in talent acquisition with at least 35 years in vendor management roles.
- Proven track record of managing external recruitment vendors RPOs or MSPs.
- Strong negotiation contract management and leadership skills.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) vendor management systems (VMS) and HR technologies.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a highgrowth or fastpaced industry (e.g. technology consulting finance).
- Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g. SHRMCP PHR).
- Strong understanding of DEI initiatives and talent pipeline development.
