Senior Software Engineer
Experience: 5 years
Location: Qatar (Onsite/ Offshore)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer UI to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of frontend development experience and a proven track record in enhancing user interfaces particularly for web and mobile platforms. You will be responsible for improving the UI/UX performance and usability of our Cargo UI system ensuring it meets high standards of accessibility and mobile compatibility. You will also be prepared to handle new requirements as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Lighthouse Findings Optimization: Address CSS JavaScript and image optimizations based on Lighthouse audit results to improve site performance.
Usability & Accessibility Improvements: Implement enhancements based on UX audit findings to ensure the UI is both userfriendly and accessible.
Mobile Compatibility Enhancements: Optimize all web pages for mobile compatibility in preparation for the new mobile app where the pages will be rendered as web views.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement test and iterate on UI improvements.
Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies and development trends.
Ensure timely completion of any new UIrelated tasks or responsibilities that arise.
Mandatory Skills:
5 years of experience in frontend development and UI design.
Proficiency in HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript.
Experience in optimizing frontend performance and responsiveness especially using Lighthouse.
Strong understanding of usability and accessibility standards (WCAG UX audit).
Proven experience in building mobilefriendly web interfaces.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with frontend frameworks like React Angular or Vue.js.
Familiarity with modern web development tools and techniques.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing highquality work.
Education:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
