Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and resultsdriven Console Product Manager to manage and expand our doortodoor consolidation services from China to Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Door to Door console Market in Qatar specifically and freight forwarding and logistics industry in general The incumbent must also have deep understanding particularly in the area of LCL (Less than Container Load) and LTL (Less Than Truck Load) shipments. He will play a key role in developing our console services ensuring seamless customer satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Development & Management:
- Develop and manage the complete console product offering with a focus on doortodoor services from China to Qatar.
- Identify and expand new opportunities for doortodoor services including crossborder logistics solutions.
- Coordinate with overseas agents particularly in China to ensure service excellence competitive pricing and smooth operations.
- Design and implement the operational workflows required for managing console shipments ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Vendor & Carrier Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with shipping lines forwarders and other key service providers to negotiate rates space allocation and service levels.
- Source and evaluate logistics vendors in China and Qatar for doortodoor operations ensuring reliable and costeffective service.
- Monitor and manage vendor performance ensuring timely pickups deliveries and customer satisfaction.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Work closely with the sales team to promote and sell the doortodoor console product.
- Should have detailed knowledge of Doha doortodoor market and should have customer base in Qatar
- Provide sales support by offering competitive quotes product insights and industry updates.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities customer needs and competitor activities.
- Develop targeted marketing strategies to promote doortodoor console services in Qatar.
- Operational & Financial Performance:
- Oversee endtoend logistics for console shipments ensuring timely and costeffective deliveries.
- Monitor the financial performance of the console product ensuring profitability and cost control.
- Collaborate with the finance team to manage billing payments and invoicing.
- Prepare and analyze performance reports including KPIs such as cost per shipment transit time and profit margins.
- Customer Service & Problem Resolution:
- Act as the point of contact for customers using the console product ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Resolve operational and servicerelated issues ensuring quick and effective solutions.
- Provide aftersales support tracking shipments and addressing any postdelivery concerns.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Ensure all shipments comply with local international and Chinese customs regulations.
- Manage all documentation related to console shipments including bills of lading commercial invoices and packing lists.
- Stay updated with changing industry regulations particularly in customs and logistics between China and Qatar.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience:
- 8 years of experience in freight forwarding and logistics with a strong focus on LCL/LTL and doortodoor services.
- Proven track record in managing consolidation services preferably in the ChinaQatar trade lane.
- Experience working with overseas agents particularly in China.
- Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of the freight forwarding industry including pricing carrier negotiations Qatar Customs clearence and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent vendor management and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful logistics solutions.
- Proficient in cargo tracking systems and software used in freight forwarding.
- Financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets pricing strategies and profitability analysis.

- Selfstarter with excellent problemsolving skills and a handson approach to product management.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.
- Professional certifications in Logistics or Supply Chain (e.g. APICS CILT) are a plus.
