Job Description
Company Overview: Our client is a leading engineering services company in the Middle East specializing in the manufacturing repair and servicing of oilfield and gas equipment operating a stateoftheart facility in Bahrain with extensive capabilities approved by global OEMs.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform server administration tasks (ex: user/group security permissions group policies print services); research event log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
- Monitor datacenter health using existing management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build test and maintain new servers when needed.
- Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including laptop and desktop computers servers routers switches firewalls printers phones and security updates; support internet intranet LANs WANs and network segments.
- Assist the help desk and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root causes and provide technical support when needed.
- Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems including backups.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT officer with Microsoft Operating Systemsand Microsoft 365 required
Bachelor s degree in IT is required
Experience in FortiGate Firewall policy creation SDWAN routing VPN connection SSL Certificates.
Experience in Backup applications required; Veeam Backup & Replication application and cloud backup
Experience in project management application design and integration and cloud computing (specifically Microsoft 365 Entra)/ ERP Support
Experience with or knowledge of Windows server operating systems current equipment and technologies enterprise backup and recovery procedures systems performancemonitoring tools active directories virtualization HTTP traffic content delivery and caching.
