Job Description
- Produce detailed and accurate electrical drawings schematics and diagrams using AutoCAD or other relevant software.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and provide drafting support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all electrical drawings and designs adhere to relevant industry standards codes and regulations applicable to the Australian Mining Industry.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including specifications manuals and design records.
- Conduct thorough reviews of drawings and documentation.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including electrical engineers project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project .
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to contribute to the continuous improvement of our electrical design processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field is desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of handson experience in electrical drafting within the Australian Mining Industry.
- Highly proficient in AutoCAD; Microsoft Visio and Excel knowledge are nicetohaves.
- Familiarity with Australian electrical codes standards and regulations or IEC standards.
- Experience in programming routines in AutoCAD is preferred
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
