Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion ensuring adherence to audit standards and regulations.
- Conduct audit fieldwork including testing controls assessing risk and documenting findings.
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to clients to improve their financial processes and controls.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members providing guidance and support as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues building strong relationships and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Assist with adhoc projects and assignments as required.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified or nearing completion of qualification.
- Previous experience in audit accounts preparation corporate taxation mainstream personal taxation and mainstream VAT within a reputable accounting firm.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to articulate findings and recommendations clearly.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Experience with accounting software packages such as Sage Xero or QuickBooks is desirable.
