Our company has a client that is seeking an AWS Architect in Saint Louis MO.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Implementation:
- Design and implement AWS cloud solutions that are secure scalable and costeffective
- Develop architectural blueprints and detailed documentation
- Create and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes manifests Helm charts and other configuration files Solution Development:
- Collaborate with software engineers and developers to design and deploy new applications in the cloud
- Migrate existing onpremises applications to AWS
- Optimize AWS environments for performance and costefficiency Cluster Management:
- Manage and monitor Kubernetes clusters ensuring high availability and reliability
- Perform regular upgrades and patches to Kubernetes clusters and related components
- Optimize resource utilization and manage cluster scaling Security and Compliance:
- Ensure AWS environments comply with industry security standards and best practices
- implement security measures such as IAM policies encryption and network security
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits Monitoring and Management:
- Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions using CloudWatch CloudTrail and other tools
- Automate operational tasks using AWS Lambda Step Functions and other serverless technologies
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for AWS environments
- Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions for Kubernetes clusters using tools like Prometheus Grafana and the ELK stack Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including DevOps network engineers and application developers
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving AWSrelated issues
Required Skills : * 10 years of experience * Strong skills in AWS Kubernetes Helm CloudWatch CloudTrail ELK Java DevOps
