Position Title: Vice President of Information Technology (VP of IT)

Position Overview:

As the Vice President of IT at Augmentjobs you will oversee the development and implementation of our IT strategy and ensure the technology infrastructure supports the companys business goals. You will manage the IT department lead technology initiatives and drive innovation to enhance efficiency and security across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business objectives. Ensure IT infrastructure supports company growth and operational needs.

  • Leadership: Lead and manage the IT team including recruitment training and performance management. Foster a collaborative and highperformance culture.

  • Project Management: Oversee IT projects from conception through implementation. Ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and meet quality standards.

  • Technology Oversight: Manage and optimize IT systems and infrastructure including hardware software networks and security measures.

  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget. Ensure costeffective solutions and ROI on technology investments.

  • Vendor Management: Evaluate select and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.

  • Cybersecurity: Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity protocols to protect company data and systems from threats.

  • Compliance: Ensure IT practices comply with relevant regulations standards and best practices.

  • Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Recommend and implement new solutions to drive business growth and efficiency.

  • Support: Provide highlevel support for critical IT issues. Ensure IT services are reliable and meet user needs.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g. MBA MS in IT) is a plus.

  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in IT leadership roles with a proven track record of managing IT teams and projects.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT systems infrastructure and security protocols. Experience with cloud computing data management and enterprise applications.

  • Leadership: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to inspire and guide IT professionals to achieve organizational goals.

  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

  • ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Ability to address complex IT issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

  • Budgeting: Experience in IT budgeting and financial management. Ability to make costeffective decisions and manage resources efficiently.

  • Innovation: Demonstrated ability to drive technological innovation and stay abreast of industry trends and developments.

  • Compliance: Understanding of IT regulatory requirements and best practices. Ability to ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards.
