Job Description:
We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Junior Financial Analyst specializing in Financial Modelling to join our dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about financial analysis data interpretation and financial forecasting. The successful candidate will work closely with senior analysts to develop and maintain financial models that support strategic decisionmaking and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Modelling: Assist in the creation maintenance and enhancement of financial models to support budgeting forecasting and strategic planning activities.
- Data Analysis: Gather and analyze financial data from various sources to ensure accuracy and relevance in models and reports.
- Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports summaries and dashboards to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze financial trends and performance metrics to provide insights and recommendations for improving financial outcomes.
- Collaboration: Work with different departments to understand their financial needs and ensure models reflect current business strategies and objectives.
- Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of financial models assumptions and methodologies to ensure transparency and accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving financial modeling processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
- Experience: 12 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role with handson experience in financial modeling preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Excel with strong knowledge of financial modeling techniques. Familiarity with financial software (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar) is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
