Job Title: Womens Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach

Reports to: Strength and Conditioning Lead/Clinical Director

Contract: Full Time Permanent

Hours: Min 40 hours per week to include evenings weekends and bank holidays

Salary:per annum

Location: The Cooper Associates County Ground Taunton & Other Venues

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Somerset County Cricket Club to join our Sport Science and Medicine team. We are looking to recruit a Womens Lead Strength and Conditioning coach.

You will work as part of the wider Sport Science and Medicine team to deliver a highperformance strength and conditioning programme to our senior womens playing squad. Youll be confident in planning programming and delivering a firstclass strength and conditioning service that maximises the physical performance of the professional senior squad. The role also focuses on the wider womens strategy and delivery through the pathway working closely with the Girls Pathway Strength and Conditioning Coach to maximise the physical capabilities of our pathway athletes as they develop towards becoming professional cricketers.

Amongst other essential criteria youll need to have a postgraduate qualification in Strength and Conditioning or equivalent and be UKSCA accredited or working towards. Youll also have demonstrable experience delivering high performance strength and conditioning programmes in the professional sporting environment.

To thrive in this role youll be approachable reflective and empathetic with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively. You are organised diligent and motivated with a forwardthinking mindset. You can work under pressure and have strong decisionmaking capabilities.

Given the nature of the role any appointment is subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS check. If no ECB DBS is already in place this check will be carried out by the Club.

Please note that working hours will include evenings weekends and bank holidays along with domestic and international travel.

You will need to be eligible to work in the UK.
