Job Title:Senior Regional HR Generalist
Scope:As a Senior Regional HR Generalist you will support employees and management across regions by implementing HR policies and driving employee engagement. Acting as a trusted advisor youll handle employee relations compliance and performance management while ensuring HR strategies align with business goals.
Responsibilities:
Talent Management:
- Collaborate with managers to identify and develop talent providing coaching on performance management.
- Facilitate talent reviews and calibration sessions to build a strong pipeline.
- Lead initiatives focused on improving employee engagement and retention.
Strategic HR Planning:
- Partner with senior leadership to implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Provide insights on restructures workforce planning and succession planning across regions.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a trusted advisor on HRrelated matters offering support to both managers and employees.
- Manage complex employee relations issues conducting investigations and ensuring compliance.
- Stay current with employment laws and regulations to reduce legal risks.
Performance Management:
- Oversee performance management processes ensuring they align with business objectives.
- Provide guidance on setting goals conducting evaluations and developing action plans for improvement.
Training & Development:
- Identify regional training needs and collaborate with the Learning & Development team to deliver relevant programs.
- Facilitate leadership development and succession planning to nurture internal talent.
Change Management:
- Lead change initiatives across regions ensuring smooth transitions and process adoption.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement acting as a regional change agent.
HR Metrics & Reporting:
- Analyze HR data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Present reports on HR activities outcomes and regional performance to senior leadership.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Collaborate with the Compensation & Benefits team to ensure fair and competitive practices across regions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate best practices into regional HR strategies.
Compliance & Best Practices:
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Provide support on compensation reviews and benefits administration.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
- 4 years of experience in HR particularly in employee relations talent management and strategic HR.
- Previous experience in the oil & gas renewable energy or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships across multiple regions and stakeholders.
- Strong problemsolving and conflictresolution skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office.
- HR certification (e.g. SHRMCP SHRMSCP PHR SPHR) is a plus.
