Microsoft Azure Data Engineer

This will be a full time assignment until year end thereafter it will be extended as an on demand assignment (16 hours/week minimum in Stockholm) and should be active and available for taking up extra effort with short notice.

Role:
We are looking for a handson Data Engineer with application operations and maintenance expertise focused on Microsoft Azure cloud data platform.
Handle data platform monitoring quality and error handling end to end.
Experience in handling support tickets and reporting.
As part of the team you will take part in some development work on a need basis (requirement analysis design development test deployment hand over).
Design and develop data solutions completely.
Work closely with our business partners system manager and help them to get better insights on the platform health and stability.

Essential requirements:
At least a bachelors degree within Computer Science or comparable field and you have at least 4 years experience in software development
Experience in handling large cloud data platform maintenance.
Ability to monitor data processing using integration and orchestration tools as Azure Data Factory and Databricks
Well familiar with Microsoft Azure Data Lake Azure SQL database and Azure Synapse data warehouse solutions
Familiarity with Azure Monitor or Log Analytics for realtime monitoring and troubleshooting of data pipelines ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using Azure DevOps especially for automating data pipeline deployments.
Experience in data modeling and programming using spark SQL and TSQL
Develop and maintain Power BI reporting and selfservice solution.
Selfmotivated and selfgoing
English is a must and Swedish is beneficial.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
You have a handson mentality to solve complex issues.
You are skilled in understanding the customer demands and can support them and build sustainable solution in ITlandscape.
