Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with strong Java/Kotlin skills to join our dynamic team. In this role you will work closely with colleagues to define and implement complete scalable solutions that meet stakeholder needs. Youll participate in all stages of the software development life cycle with a focus on backend development and microservices architecture.
This position offers the opportunity to work on cuttingedge technologies and be an integral part of our development process contributing to both the ongoing enhancement and reliability of our existing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with colleagues to define and implement optimal complete solutions based on stakeholder needs.
- Further develop and operate the existing system landscape ensuring maintainability reliability and scalability.
- Participate in all stages of the software development life cycle.
- Implement user stories track and fix bugs ensuring software components are scalable and highly available.
- Perform code reviews (merge reviews) to maintain quality and performance of deployed solutions.
- Actively participate in Scrum and SAFe team events.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java/Kotlin with experience in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud for microservices development.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles including planning design and deployment.
- Experience with asynchronous systems (SQS/Kafka) and APIFirst development (REST API OAuth2 Swagger TestDriven Development).
- Skills in backend development with the ability to work on small Angular monitoring dashboards.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel.
- Valid work permit (if applicable).
NicetoHave Skills:
- Experience with Lambda/TypeScript for asynchronous extensions.
