Job Description
Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Pittsfield MA 01201
Pay rate: $60/hourly
Duration: 26 Weeks
Guarantee Hours: 40
Your pay is based on whether you are in a local or travel position. A travel position is defined as residing more than 50 miles from the facility.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop personalized treatment plans and provide therapy services.
- Educate patients families and caregivers on therapy techniques.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and advocate for patients needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and promote prevention and wellness.
Requirements:
- Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology (SLP).
- State licensure and optional certification through ASHA.
- Strong clinical and communication skills empathy and cultural competence.
- Commitment to ethical practice and professional standards.
