Job Description
AWS Cloud Developer/Architect
Experience:15 20 Years
Location: London UK
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in cloud development and architecture specifically with AWS.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python Java or JavaScript.
- Proficiency with AWS services (EC2 S3 RDS Lambda etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes).
- Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Position Overview: As an AWS Cloud Developer/Architect you will design implement and optimize cloud solutions using AWS services. Your programming expertise will enable you to develop robust applications and automation scripts ensuring scalability performance and security across our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud architectures on AWS.
- Develop cloudnative applications using programming languages such as Python Java or Node.js.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate deployments.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective cloud solutions.
- Optimize existing applications and cloud resources for performance and costefficiency.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and updates.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud applications and infrastructure ensuring high availability.
- Stay updated on AWS services and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer.
- Experience with serverless architectures and microservices design.
- Knowledge of database management systems (SQL NoSQL).
