Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring network security and recommend enhancements
• Participate in incident response activities and conduct postincident analysis
• Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and implementing remediation measures
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies procedures and protocols
• Participate in security awareness training and workshops for employees
• Assist in risk management activities and contribute to risk assessment processes
• Support the security operations center (SOC) in daytoday activities
• Conduct research on emerging cyber threats and report findings
• Assist in implementing and managing security tools and technologies
• Provide support in developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans
• Contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new security solutions
• Participate in security audits and compliance assessments
• Assist in security incident documentation and reporting
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation including policies standards and procedures
• Support the investigation of security incidents and breaches

Required Qualifications:

• Finalyear pursuing a Bachelors degree in Cyber Security Information Technology or related field
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and protocols
• Knowledge of cyber security fundamentals and best practices
• Familiarity with security tools such as IDS/IPS SIEM and firewalls
• Understanding of incident response procedures and methodologies
• Basic understanding of risk management and assessment processes
• Familiarity with vulnerability assessment and management concepts
• Basic knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements related to cyber security
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies
• Strong time management and organizational skills
