Overview:
The Ansible Developer plays a key role in developing and maintaining automation solutions using Ansible within the organization. They are responsible for creating testing and implementing Ansible playbooks to streamline processes and improve efficiency across the IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Well versed with IaC & IaaS concepts
- Good understanding and hands on experience in supporting IaC workloads
- Good handson experience with Ansible play books
- Able to write automation scripts using Ansible
- Able to leverage Ansible Galaxy or similar features to leverage existing automation scripts/playbooks for further enhancement testing & rollout
- Good understanding of monitoring automation workflows and orchestration of automation scripts
- Ability of debug automation failure & fix ( code changes/ redeployment etc)
- Hands on experience in managing Linux environments in combination with Ansible playbooks
- Good understanding of VM provisioning automation and associated tasks
- Ability to understand document and deliver requirements from project teams wrt automated delivery of VMs application packaging enabling monitoring services etc
- Knowledge around e2e support management of ansible based automation scripts
- Project Management
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 3 years of experience in developing automation solutions using Ansible
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Shell or Perl
- Experience with DevOps principles and practices
- Indepth knowledge of Linux operating systems and administration
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Ability to work in a fastpaced collaborative environment
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of network and infrastructure concepts
- Certifications in Ansible or related technologies is a plus
