Job Description
We are hiring New Product Development Design Engineer with Fabrication background
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and ideation to contribute to new product concepts
- Translate conceptual designs into detailed engineering specifications
- Utilize CAD software to develop and iterate on product designs
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability
- Manage prototyping and testing of new product designs
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing engineering and quality control
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed product documentation
- Support product launch activities and provide technical assistance as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization of design processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Product Design or related field
- Proven experience in new product development and design engineering
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks AutoCAD or similar
- Strong understanding of product development processes and methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with project management tools and techniques
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for new product development
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fastpaced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in design work
- Capability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams
