Job Description
Overview:
As a Primary Care Physician you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages serving as their first point of contact for any health concerns. Your position is pivotal in promoting and maintaining the wellbeing of patients within the community while fostering longterm trusted patientdoctor relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting routine checkups and physical examinations
- Diagnosing and treating various illnesses and injuries
- Managing chronic conditions such as diabetes hypertension and asthma
- Prescribing and administering medications and treatments
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Providing preventive care and health education
- Referring patients to specialists when necessary
- Documenting patient medical records accurately and timely
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals for integrated care
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- State medical license and DEA registration
- Residency training in primary care specialty
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Empathy and compassion towards patients
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Understanding of electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Adherence to ethical and legal standards in healthcare
- Ability to handle a fastpaced and diverse patient caseload
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in medical technology and equipment
- Adherence to infection control and safety protocols
