Overview

Key responsibilities

• Conduct initial patient consultations and physical examinations
• Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic illnesses
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging
• Prescribe medications and formulate treatment plans
• Provide ongoing patient education and counseling
• Coordinate with specialists for further diagnosis and treatment
• Oversee and manage chronic conditions and preventive care
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in healthcare
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Stay updated with medical advancements and best practices
• Contribute to continuing medical education and knowledge sharing
• Engage in community outreach programs and health awareness initiatives
• Provide telemedicine services where applicable

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board certification in Internal Medicine Family Medicine or related specialty
• Licensure to practice medicine in the designated state
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in primary care
• Proven proficiency in medical diagnosis treatment and patient care
• Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of evidencebased practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare environment
• Empathy and compassion towards patients and their families
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations
• Willingness to participate in oncall duties and flexible schedules
• Proficiency in utilizing digital health and telemedicine technologies
