Job Description

Overview

As a Family Medicine Physician you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive medical care to individuals and families. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of illnesses overseeing preventive care and promoting overall wellbeing. Your contribution as a Family Medicine Physician will be essential in establishing and maintaining strong patientdoctor relationships as well as ensuring the overall health and wellness of the community.

Key responsibilities

  • Conducting comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories for patients of all ages
  • Diagnosing and treating various acute and chronic illnesses
  • Developing personalized treatment plans for individual patients
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Providing immunizations and managing vaccination schedules
  • Offering guidance and support for healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care
  • Managing and coordinating care for patients with multiple healthcare needs
  • Overseeing chronic disease management for conditions such as diabetes hypertension and asthma
  • Assisting in the medical supervision and training of healthcare staff and medical students
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and promoting patient safety
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed medical records
  • Participating in oncall rotations and providing care in urgent situations
  • Keeping abreast of the latest medical developments and guidelines
  • Contributing to the overall development and success of the medical practice or facility

Required qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree
  • Completion of residency training in family medicine or primary care
  • Board certification in family medicine or eligibility for certification
  • State medical license and DEA registration
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in providing primary care for patients of all ages
  • Proficiency in clinical diagnosis treatment planning and medical decisionmaking
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative teambased healthcare environment
  • Commitment to ongoing medical education and continuous professional development
  • Indepth understanding of evidencebased medicine and preventive healthcare
  • Experience in managing chronic diseases and promoting health and wellness
  • Adherence to ethical and professional standards of medical practice
  • Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and medical documentation
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic healthcare setting
