Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and growthdriven Business Manager to lead the development and of key business strategies spanning across growth retention and market expansion. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition increasing retention and revenue and enhancing Kuku FM s market position through innovative marketing initiatives and longterm strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Growth Plans: Design and execute shortterm and longterm strategies to accelerate user base growth
  • Revenue and Retention Optimization: Develop strategies for maximizing user engagement conversion rates and monetization of services
  • Datadriven Insights: Utilize analytics and consumer data to inform business decisions and optimize performance
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Build and maintain strategic partnerships to amplify marketing initiatives and drive organic growth.
  • Crossfunctional Collaboration: Liaise with Product Engineering and Content teams to align business goals and growth initiatives.
  • Competitor Analysis: Keep track of industry trends competitor strategies and market demands to position Kuku FM competitively.
Qualifications and Skills:

In terms of backgrounds and work experience we appreciate some prior startup scaling/ growth or consulting experience. But this is only indicative. We appreciate the
  • Education: Bachelor s degree MBA preferred
  • Experience: 4 to 9 years of experience in a business management role with a focus on growth and strategy (experience in consumertech is a plus)
  • Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in using analytics tools to track performance and inform strategies (Google Analytics Mixpanel etc.)
  • First Principles Thinker: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute complex marketing and growth strategies.
  • Leadership Skills: Experience in managing teams and collaborating with crossfunctional departments
  • Excited about wearing multiple hats: As our company scales so do our people and we love giving our team the opportunity to grow within the organization
  • Marketing Expertise: Indepth knowledge of digital marketing strategies social media platforms and content marketing
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to senior leadership and external partners
