Overview:
The Graphic Designer plays a crucial role in our IT Company creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire inform and captivate consumers. This individual will collaborate with the marketing team to develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements brochures magazines and corporate reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create visual aspects of marketing materials websites and other media including infographics
- Design graphics illustrations and images to convey complex messages
- Develop the overall layout and production design for various applications
- Review designs for errors before printing or publishing
- Work with creative director to produce the final design
- Collaborate with the marketing and production teams to complete projects
- Amend designs after feedback
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and onbrand
- Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
- Deploy efficient project management skills to meet deadlines
- Stay uptodate with industry developments and tools
- Present rough drafts to the creative director and key stakeholders
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
- Ensure compliance with company guidelines industry standards and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator Photoshop InDesign etc.)
- Knowledge of design elements such as color typography and composition
- Experience with website design including responsive design principles
- Strong understanding of visual communication principles
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Uptodate with industryleading software and technologies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
- Keen attention to detail and willingness to make iterative changes
- A creative flair versatility conceptual/visual ability and originality
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Understanding of marketing production website design corporate identity product packaging advertisements and multimedia design
