Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the electrical team.
- Prioritize coordinate and layout work for the day.
- Inventory schedule and order materials and supplies for upcoming work.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing electrical components including PLC panels drives motors fans VFDs transformers pumps and generators.
- Work with 420 mA 4160 13.8 AC up to 480v 5kva DC voltages.
- Read and follow electrical prints.
- Assist the electrical team both underground and on the surface as needed.
- Develop knowledge of hoisting/crushing operations and troubleshoot them as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant industrial electrical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other department managers and employees.
- Strong time management skills.
- Experience with PLC systems DC/AC drives.
- Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Must be able to perform the work without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of self or others due to the safety sensitivity of tasks.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
