Overview:
The Prompt Engineer plays a critical role in providing technical support and timely resolution of customer issues ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. This position is essential in maintaining prompt responses to technical problems implementing effective solutions and communicating with internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries through various channels
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
- Provide timely customer feedback
- Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams
- Ensure all issues are properly logged
- Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time
- Follow up with clients to ensure their technical issues are fully resolved
- Prepare accurate and timely reports
- Contribute to improving customer support by actively providing feedback and recommendations
- Assist with onboarding and training new team members as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of computer systems mobile devices and other tech products
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- Ability to provide stepbystep technical help both written and verbal
- Experience in customer service is a plus
- Project management skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Professional certification (e.g. CompTIA A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) is a plus
