Overview

Key responsibilities

• Conducting thorough patient assessments and health history interviews
• Diagnosing illnesses and prescribing appropriate treatment plans
• Providing preventive care services such as vaccinations and health screenings
• Managing chronic conditions and coordinating with specialists as needed
• Offering personalized health education and counseling to patients and their families
• Performing minor surgical procedures and suturing when necessary
• Ensuring accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
• Participating in oncall rotations and handling afterhours patient needs
• Staying updated on medical advancements and evidencebased practices
• Supervising medical assistants and other support staff
• Contributing to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Engaging in community outreach and health promotion activities
• Attending and actively participating in clinical meetings and continuing medical education
• Maintaining ethical and professional conduct at all times

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine
• Board certification or eligibility for certification in Family Medicine
• State medical licensure and DEA registration
• Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Empathy and a patientcentered approach to care
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team
• Adherence to high ethical and professional standards
• Willingness to participate in afterhours oncall responsibilities
