Material Handler - Aerospace

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive inspect and store materials and supplies
• Utilize forklifts pallet jacks and other equipment to transport materials
• Ensure accurate documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials
• Prepare materials for shipping including packaging and labeling
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts as needed
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling hazardous materials
• Collaborate with procurement and production teams to fulfill material requests
• Identify and report any quality or inventory discrepancies
• Operate within strict aerospace industry regulations and standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a material handler preferably in the aerospace industry
• Knowledge of aerospace materials tools and parts
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Understanding of inventory management and control
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
• Physical strength and stamina to handle materials and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
