Location: Fully remote travel as needed to meet with PD team and contract manufacturers

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Manager/Director of Product Development for our scaling skincare brand. This role will lead the ideation development and launch of new skincare products overseeing the entire product development lifecycle from concept to commercialization. The ideal candidate will bring deep PD expertise in skin care/body care development strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering cuttingedge products that meet both market demands and brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the VP of Product Development to lead the ideation and formulation process for new products overseeing development from concept through to commercialization.
• Lead development of NPD (New Product Development) briefs with COG targets and submits to R&D teams and external contract manufacturers to kick off projects.
• Review and assess formula submissions providing timely feedback to R&D teams and external contract manufacturers.
• Explore innovative textures identify breakthrough ingredients and establish benchmarks by analyzing competitors.
• Ensure all projects remain aligned with key development milestones and meet targeted launch dates.
• Effectively collaborate with Packaging to maintain cohesive communication and successful product launches.
• Lead the of clinical trials and consumer perception studies.
• Develop comprehensive product profiles that communicate the story positioning key claims and technology of new products for marketing education and PR purposes.
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to leverage consumer insights and identify trends that drive product innovation.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with raw material suppliers vendors and contract manufacturers both domestically and internationally.

Key Qualifications:

• Education: University undergraduate or graduate degree; preferably in a scientific discipline.
• Experience: 8 years of product development experience skin care/ body care preferred. Expertise in color cosmetics is a bonus but not mandatory.
• Proven record of leading successful skin care and body care product launches.
• Experience and passion for skin care body care and color cosmetics ingredients and trends.
• Knowledge of global skin care regulations (e.g. FDA EU) is a bonus but not mandatory.
• Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills
